PROOF 99 is an app for staying up to date on all things bourbon in Kentucky
Situation
Bourbon is a staple alcohol made in Kentucky, which has a heavy saturation of bourbon distilleries in the state. The Bourbon Trail was created to encourage individuals to visit a variety of distilleries in the state.
The current documentation method of the trail is a physical booklet where visitors will receive a stamp from each place they visit. The goal of this interface was to integrate the current documentation process and add more tracking functionality so the user can stay up to date on all the latest bourbon related events.
Solution
The goal of this interface was to integrate with the current branding and visual identity provided for the Kentucky Bourbon Trail while modernizing the look for digital platform. This was accomplished by using colors associated with bourbon (orange and brown) and utilizing simple vector graphics similar to the original visual identity.
