EXPLORATION
They wanted a logo that could encompass multiple Asian cultures and their connection to food, as that is a large portion of the content shared. My solution was to use rice grain as a symbol that could be used in the wordmark ‘Asianati’ or as a standalone logo.
After solidifying the shape of the rice grain, I explored a variety of ways to orient it in a multitude or stand alone. Ultimately, I landed on a version where two grains of rice come together in a point to form the ‘A’ in the Asianati word mark. This also works as a standalone symbol that can be applied in various formats for social media, web, and printed formats.
